Happy 2nd Birthday Ruth!
Today my Baby Ruth turned 2! Usually i make post full of memories and pics of the honoree... today the memories will have to do... since my computer crashed! Ruth was born after a very tough pregnancy! For months she jerked from withdrawls of all the medicine i was on! Despite the medicine though she was very very healthy! Now 2 yrs later I often get asked if she is even a year because she is so tiny! i recently purchased some pants that were 3-6 mos and they were still too big... yet the top was 18 mos! When she talks she sounds much older than 2! Her vocab is amazing! She plays very well with others and is learning more each day! Today for lunch she surprised us all and ate 4 pieces of pizza! She may be tiny but don't let her size fool you! We love her and enjoy the love she brings to our family! Happy 2nd Birthday Ruth!

Getting or Giving
Not sure where ir if the Bible actually says it, I've always heard it.. It is better to give than to recieve! I was born with a giving heart.. I'm not trying to baost! I LOVE to give things away... even a compliment and see the reaction of people! I do like to recieve to... just not as much I think!
Today My very good friend and I were talking about the upcoming homeschool year and discovered I had a a few books she needed for her girls! To see God use something I had on my shelf was such an Awesome feeling!
This friend's daughter (who's 12) takes AMAZING pictures and did a photo shoot of my youngest yesterday for her upcoming 2nd Birthday! Today she even took some of all 7 of mine and I can hardly wait to show them off! They are Awesome! So today I was on the Getting side and the Giving side!
Really to feel the Love of God and share the Love of God are both equally important! Often I am amazed at how much I feel loved by God and all those around me! Even when I am not perfect I can see how they love me!
Give a little today! You never know how'll much you might recieve in return!

Stepping Out!
I took a big step today and created blogs for my two oldest sons! I really enjoy it alot and I think it will expand the mind of my boys! I want them to share their feelings and learn to watch what they say at the same time! Of course I'll be keeping a watchful eye on them... it is necessary that I let them spread their wings so to speak!
God is showing me how sometimes letting go is the best way to let them grow!
Blogging for me has given me an "out" ... a way to vent on all the good things and occasionally a hard issue or two! This way I am NOT overloading on my friends so often!
I'm hoping by stepping out and letting them have this freedom it will allow them to share thier feelings to a point and learn some writing skills too!
Amazing how I seem to learn more than my children so often! Good thing is the same will happen as they grow.. no one is ever to old to learn!

Come As You Are!
I have ALWAYS been my own person... meaning I am not shy about being different!
Guess my personality is built to stand out.. my oldest is the same way and is learning the hard way that most people would rather if you blend in than stick out! I keep encouraging him to be who he is and maybe just tweak it a little!
Only in recent years have I learned to take a step or two back and realize not everyone needs to hear what I want to say! Many times I wanbt to say so much more than I actually do! Maybe that is whay I love blogging to much! I can talk and talk through writing and if you don't want to hear anymore quit reading! I promise you won't hurt my feelings and I probably won't ever even know! It is a win win stiuation!
It is so nice to know that God loves us for who we are, without any tweaking! I can run my mouth all I want or not even say a word without hearing what's wrong with you?! God accepts us for who we are inside and out!
Despite the many mistakes I make, daily, God sees me clean and white as snow! That is such an Awesome feeling I want my children to feel daily, even from me! No where near perfect I am sure... God sees me changing!
